When you’re done, make sure to save by clicking “File” in the top left corner and then “Save.” Now your bin file has been edited! Now do what you did above, rename and replace the file, and there you go! Now your monster is singing it’s other track on Composer Island!!ĬAN I CHANGE MONSTER ANIMATIONS ON DIFFERENT ISLANDS AS WELL? To replace the first PomPom lines with the second PomPom lines, I’ll need to copy the hex number for the second animations (and tracks) and paste it to the original ones. (Except for the dance one like 01-B_Dance_01, leave that code be) For example: Inside of my bin, I have “audio/music/05-ACE_Monster_01.ogg” and “05-ACE_Monster_01”, including the second tracks. Now to actually get the second track, you’ll need to replace all of the first track sounds and animations inside of the bin and paste in another track they have, replacing the original. Now don’t worry, if you don’t know how to replace a hex number, you can copy one already there and paste it to replace it. Please don’t edit the original, or else your game will crash. Once you’ve opened the file you want, you’ll see a bunch of hex code with the main code. (Or click and press open, depending on what computer you use) Go to wherever you pasted the bin and click on it to open it up. Open the Hex Editor I recommended to you once installed (or your own), and click “File” in the top-left corner, then click “Open File…” and it’ll browse bins and other files on your computer. So first of all, you’ll need to copy the bin from the game files, paste it somewhere, but DON’T rename it or replace just yet. ( Tip: Monsters won’t play two or more tracks at once, so you’ll need to create separate monsters with different tracks each.) The link of a recommended one is in the comment section below. Luckily, it is possible to do! However, instead of editing the main text inside of the bin, you’ll need a Hex Editor to really get in there. HOW DO I MAKE MONSTERS PLAY DIFFERENT TRACKS? IT KEEPS PLAYING THE FIRST ONE. If you figured this out, add more monsters and feel free to make your own coolio island remix! This works with rares and epics as well, so rather if it's an Epic Pango chillin' on Composer with it's Cold Island animation, or a million Stoowarbs doing the Earthquake, it will always work! Have fun! Purchase a Glowbe if you want to set a time limit to your song, it gets annoying to hear half of the monster's song over and over without a time limit XD. Otherwise it wouldn't play it's animation, and that would be kinda boring. Once you're done with this, open the game up, and not only will your monster sing - it'll have access to play it's animation too! Too play it's part on Composer island, go into the monster's composition and then tap the 'note' button on the bottom of the screen (marked "No accidentals.") When you get to place the sharp notes on the sheet music, remember to always place a note at the top!! Yep, right at the tippy top of the sheet music. Know which monster's which, and then copy, paste, rename, replace, the whole thing just like in the last tutorial. Using the same techniques in the last tutorial, do what you did first with the monster bins (which you probably already did) and then start doing this with the top files. Those files will have titles like "001_B" and stuff. Anyway let's get to work, on top of the "xml_bin" folder in the MSM files, there are files that store the animation and sound. I think modding MSM is the best tbh, I've been doing it ever since I started playing the game on mobile (which was a long time ago!). Don't worry, this is as easy as the last tutorial! Reason? I just figured this out several days ago, and finally get to be out there and show the world. If you haven't already please go into that before you continue, because this won't make ANY sense if you don't.īut anyway, I've been waiting for a LONG time to share this with you. Rare Wubbox high five! (lol I just wanted to bring that up) Before we start moddin' stuff, there is a part 1 to this tutorial.
